Mount virtual disk drives in Windows including DOS disks, CD and DVD images.

ImDisk is a virtual disk driver which can mount a number of different image types to your system by using the RAM. It is able to create images itself and mount them.

The ease-of-use of this program isn't exactly a walk in the park for non-technical users, but taking advantage of some of ImDisk's basic features should be possible after playing around. It supports ISO, NRG, VHD, IMA, IMG, BIN and several other common image formats.

With this virtual disk driver, you're able to use the tool to create devices on your PC and check them for errors; locking volumes, flushing file buffers and removing devices are all possible with this application.

Some options that can be applied with ImDisk include drive formatting, extend size, set media to read-online and a few other options regarding mounted images. Upon mounting a new virtual device, the size of the image can be set along with a few other advanced options.

In conclusion, the ImDisk Virtual Disk Driver is an excellent and free way to deal with image files
